1. Charlaine Harris – 18 books
I’ve read the Sookie Stackhouse 13-book series, plus the book of short stories. And I’ve read the Harper Connelly 4-book series. I also have 13 unread Charlaine Harris books on my shelves – Aurora Teagarden Mysteries (8 books) and Lily Bard Mysteries (5 books).
2. Lemony Snicket – 15 books
15 if you count Daniel Handler’s Why We Broke Up. 14 if you don’t! I read and loved the 13-book A Series of Unfortunate Events. And started the All The Wrong Questions series, but so far have only read book 1: Who Could That Be at This Hour? I have the sequel on my shelf ready to read.
3. Amanda Hocking – 11 books
Amanda Hocking is my favourite author. I first read the Trylle trilogy and Hollowland eBook. Then the Watersong 4-book series, and recently have been enjoying the Kanin Chronicles.
4. Maggie Stiefvater – 9 books
Maggie Stiefvater is one of the first YA authors I read, starting with The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy – Shiver, Linger, and Forever. I then read Lament and Ballad, and one of my favourite books of all time, The Scorpio Races. More recently I’ve enjoyed going back to the Wolves with Sinner, and new magical series, The Raven Cycle.
5. JK Rowling – 7 books
Unless we start counting re-reads, no explanation is needed with this one! The 7 books I have read by J.K. Rowling are . . . The Harry Potter series.
Thank you for stopping by! I’d love to hear who your top 5 most-read authors are in the comments!
