Authors for the Philippines

Do you want to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines? Authors Keren David and our very own Keris Stainton have set up Authors for the Philippines, an online auction to raise money for the Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal. Loads of authors, including some of the Allsorts, are offering amazing items such as signed books, critiques, mentoring, courses and even school visits.

Bidding opens at 8am GMT today and closes at 8pm GMT on Wednesday 20th November.  If you want to get involved, all you need to do is visit the website and bid for the item or items you’d like to win. Keris’s previous campaign, Authors for Japan, raised over £12,000 for victims of the 2011 Tsunami. It would be amazing if Authors for the Philippines could do that again – or even beat it!
